1. Report a lost or found pet
Choose the city, add the date, describe what happened and upload up to five photos. If the pet is lost, tell us which email address should receive new sightings.
2. The report is reviewed
A person checks each new listing before it goes public. We reject obvious spam and any unsafe or unrelated content; unclear reports can be returned for correction.
3. People browse by city and category
Public pages separate lost and found cats and dogs by city, so visitors can get to the relevant reports without searching through unrelated posts.
4. A sighting is sent privately
If someone may have seen a lost pet, they can send the time, place, a note and an optional photo. The owner receives an email and sees the full report in their account.
5. A possible owner contacts the finder privately
If a found pet may be theirs, a person can send identifying details and an older photo privately. The finder can compare the evidence before arranging a handover.
6. Mark the case resolved
When the pet is reunited or the case otherwise ends, the owner can mark the listing resolved. Public contact actions are removed while a limited public history may remain.
