1. Report a lost or found pet
Choose the city, add the date, a useful description and up to five photos. For lost-pet reports, provide a notification email so Lost Pet World can alert you when someone sends a sighting.
2. The report is reviewed
New listings are not published automatically. They enter moderation first so obvious spam, unsafe content and unsuitable reports can be rejected or returned for correction.
3. People browse by city and category
Public pages group lost and found cats and dogs by city. The goal is to make current local reports easy to find without exposing private contact information.
4. A sighting is sent privately
For an active lost-pet listing, a signed-in user can send a private sighting. The owner receives an email notification and can review the full sighting inside their account.
5. Mark the case resolved
When the pet is reunited or the case otherwise ends, the owner can mark the listing resolved. Public contact actions are removed while a limited public history may remain.
Important
Lost Pet World is a community information service, not an emergency, veterinary, rescue or law-enforcement service. If an animal or person is in immediate danger, contact the appropriate local authority or emergency service.
