Lost Pet World provides an online platform for publishing and browsing lost/found pet reports and for sending private recovery sightings. We do not take custody of animals, verify ownership, guarantee the accuracy of user reports, or guarantee that a pet will be found or reunited.

You are responsible for access to the email account used for Magic Link authentication and for activity carried out through your Lost Pet World account. Do not use another person’s email address without permission.

You must provide information you reasonably believe is accurate and relevant to a genuine lost/found pet case. Do not publish misleading reports, commercial pet sales, scams, threats, harassment, unlawful content or unnecessary personal information about other people.

You keep ownership of content you submit. You give Lost Pet World a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, reproduce, resize, display and distribute that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, moderate, promote and improve the lost-pet recovery service. You must have the right to submit the content.

We may review, reject, hide, correct obvious formatting problems, expire or remove listings and other content where we reasonably believe this is necessary for safety, accuracy, legal compliance, duplicate control or the usefulness of the service. Human review does not mean we independently verify every factual statement.

Private owner contact and sighting details are not intended for public display by default. Users must not attempt to scrape, expose, misuse or republish private contact or location information obtained through the service.

Use reasonable caution when arranging any in-person meeting or animal handover. Verify ownership where appropriate. Lost Pet World is not an emergency, veterinary, rescue or law-enforcement service. Contact appropriate local services when a person or animal is in immediate danger.

We aim to keep the service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Features may change, be suspended or be discontinued, particularly during the pilot and expansion stages.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Lost Pet World is provided as an information and coordination service without a guarantee of recovery, identity, ownership or user conduct. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.

We may restrict or terminate access where an account is used for abuse, fraud, spam, repeated false reports, privacy violations, unlawful activity or material breach of these terms. Users may request account deletion subject to legitimate retention and legal requirements.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator in the Republic of Moldova, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply to them under the law of their country of residence or under EU law where applicable.

We may update these terms as the service changes. Material updates will be published on this page, and additional notice will be provided where required by law.
